Seminar : Introduction to the ethics of technology and AI

The aim of this module is to provide participants with a first holistic approach to the ethics of Artificial Intelligence.
The first step will be to understand the notion of ethics, before tackling the need to think about the ethics of AI by understanding its various impacts in a holistic approach, i.e. economically, ecologically, socially, politically, etc. Participants will be given the opportunity to do some practical work before tackling the current challenges of AI, while looking at a number of ethical principles and existing general or specific charters.
The module will conclude with a look at how to integrate AI ethics into corporate governance, ethics committees and recruitment procedures.
