The mission of Data Science Liège is to offer a forum, upon which participants can leverage to federate data science initiatives, showcase projects and ideas, call for support and partnerships, disseminate knowledge and stimulate public awareness. This 22nd meetup will focus on the link between Blockchain and data science.
Participants may choose to attend the event physically in HEC Liège or to follow it online. Both options will be available upon registration.

Data Science on Blockchain, how to get started? Two analysis examples on NFT and Helium – Thomas de Marchin
As Blockchain technology is booming, there is a growing need for tools and skills to enable us to read, summarize and interpret chain information. While obtaining cryptocurrencies price data is straightforward, more sophisticated data manipulations require access to the “source” data. How can we read chain data? We will discuss a few data extraction techniques by examining two examples implemented in R. In the first example, we will explore how to track and visualize NFTs. The second one will be dedicated to blockchain IoT data visualization and the rise of the Helium network.
